  • Millennium Center for Performing Arts
    • Millennium Center for Performing Arts provides participants of all ages with a strong, artistic, intellectual, and practical foundation of music, art and drama. Services include adult enrichment programs, socialization activities, meals, recreation, transportation and some health-related services in supervised group settings.
  • RISE Adult Day Program
    • RISE Adult Day program is designed to meet the needs and interests of adults who no longer want to work full time, but would still enjoy remaining an active part of their community. This program includes recreational, social and creative activities, as well as fitness activities, community service, art and music therapy and educational groups, among other things.
  • Sholom Adult Day Program
    • Adult Day programming offers participants and caregivers daytime programming, emotional support and assistance with healthcare issues.

    • Offers adaptive ski and snowboard lessons at Buck Hill in Burnsville, MN.
  • Courage Kenny Ski & Snowboard
    • Offers adaptive ski and snowboard lessons at 7 locations throughout Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. Get one-to-one instruction in adaptive skiing techniques that accommodate people with a variety of physical disabilities and visual impairments. This program is part of Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute.
  • Giants Ridge – Nordic and Alpine
    • Giants Ridge is the Midwest’s top-rated ski and snowboard hot-spot. Here, snow adventures are always in action, offering 35 downhill ski runs, over 60 km of the finest-groomed nordic ski trails and the best snowboarding terrain park in Minnesota!
  • Mankato Area Adaptive Ski Program (MAASP)
    • MAASP is a local group of skiers who work together to offer adults and youth with physical disabilities the opportunity to learn to ski.
  • Ski for Light, Inc 
    • Ski for Light, Inc. is an all-volunteer, non-profit, organization founded in 1975. The mission of Ski for Light is to teach visually- and mobility-impaired adults the sport of classic cross-country skiing, to give participants who have already mastered the basics the chance to improve their skills and endurance, and to enable participants to just have fun on the snow.

    • Provides individual adaptive ski and snowboard lessons.
  • U.S. Paralympics Nordic Skiing
    • U.S. Paralympics Nordic Skiing is national governing body for US Para Nordic. We are committed to growing the sport on all playing fields.

  • We Can Ride
    • It is the mission of We Can Ride, to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities or special needs through equine assisted activities.
  • Stable Pathways
    • At Stable Pathways, our mission is to empower, strengthen and inspire those living with disabilities through horse-assisted activities.
  • Courage Kenny Riders
    • Courage Kenny Riders is a therapeutic horseback riding program serving children with physical and sensory impairments ages 5-21.
  • Hold Your Horses
    • Moving lives forward from trauma and disability with the help of a horse. Hold Your Horses offers equine assisted services in a private farm setting.
  • Majestic Hills Ranch
    • Majestic Hills Ranch is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that offers Equine-Assisted Activities and Therapeutic Riding to Children &  Adults with Special Needs and Injured Military Personnel, Active Duty & Veterans in Rehabilitation.

    • Our mission is to serve families of children or adults with special needs; providing horse back riding and related activities; creating a fun and therapeutic environment WHERE EVERYONE IS ABLE! (enhancing physical, spiritual, emotional and mental health)
  • True Strides
    • True Strides Therapeutic Riding Center offers children and adults the opportunity for Equine Assisted Therapies/Hippotherapy and horse camps that provide life changing experiences.
  • River Valley Riders

  • Touching Moments
    • Touching Moments Animal Assisted Activities program was founded in 2006 with the idea stemming from a confirmation project that required an act of kindness be performed. The program’s founding family were aware of the benefits of pet therapy and felt there was a need in Houston County for such a program.
  • MN STAR program
    • A System of Technology to Achieve Results (STAR) is located within the Minnesota Department of Administration. STAR's mission is to help all Minnesotans with disabilities gain access to and acquire the assistive technology they need to live, learn, work and play.

  • Park Grove Bowl
    • It’s easy to enjoy good times at Park Grove Bowl with the whole family! Just kick-back and have a ball with: 24 synthetic lanes; automatic scoring and bumpers, glow-and-bowl and great values on League and Open Bowling.

  • Autism Society of Minnesota
    • AuSM exists to enhance the lives of individuals with ASD, realizing its mission through education, support, collaboration, and advocacy.
  • Camp Character & Camp of Champs (Family Foundations Minnesota)
    • Our camps are fully committed to developing character and social skills for children with special needs ages 9-17. These 1-2 week long camps are geared to focus on respect, boundaries, and appropriate behavior and our LITE "Leaders in Training Experience" sessions for ages 12-17 focus on leadership, advocacy & transition skills.
  • Down Syndrome Camp
    • Summer Camp is a right of passage for young people. Down Syndrome Camp is no exception! It is where new friendships are forged through shared experiences and the unforgettable adventure of being away from home overnight. Lifelong memories are etched into the mind, and happiness abounds!
  • E.X.I.T.E. Camp (day camp)
    • PACER’s mission of EX.I.T.E. Camp is to empower middle school girls with disabilities in the fields of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math). EX.I.T.E. Camp provides a safe and supported environment for hands-on learning as well as a place to meet new friends and create lasting memories.
  • Mount Olivet Rolling Acres
    • Mount Olivet Rolling Acres’ Discover Summer Camp is a therapeutic day camp for youth on the autism spectrum. This unique camp offers small group sizes (6-12 campers per session) for kids ages 9-16 and is designed for children who need an alternative to traditional summer day camp programs, including those with significant behavior challenges. 
  • St. David's Adventure
    • Through after-school and summer programming at sites throughout the metro, participants engage in a variety of “adventures” that allow them to experience new activities in their community in a safe and therapeutic setting.
  • True Friends
    • Our program provides opportunities to develop an appreciation of nature, live cooperatively with others, share in the responsibilities of group living, develop new leisure interests, experience traditional camp activities, and have fun!
  • West Metro Horse Camp
    • At West Metro Horse Camp, in order to be a good "horse hand" we start with the basics and teach the children about why the horse acts and does what he does. This is the key to communication and how to get the results you want. Success with the horse depends on whether someone knows this or not.
  • Ironwood Springs Wheelchair Sports Camp
    • Ironwood invites youth and adults with physical challenges of all levels to participate in a variety of sport-themed activities in a supportive and inspiring team environment.

Ideal Cheer Elite

  • Ideal Cheer Elite is the first and only USASF All-Star cheerleading gym in Northern Minnesota. Currently the program offers a team for all ages (3+) and is continuing to offer classes and camps

Twin Cities Twisters Gymnastics

    • The award-winning Adult Academic Program (AAP) helps adults improve educational skills in order to achieve their academic and personal goals. Our team of more than 30 licensed teachers and support staff is committed to providing a flexible, caring, and friendly environment for learning.
  • St. Paul Adaptive Recreation Community Happenings (ARCH)
    • Adaptive Recreation provides a comprehensive recreational program for Saint Paul residents of all ages who have physical and/or developmental disabilities. Since its inception in 1976, Adaptive Recreation has evolved from offering primarily recreational activities to providing educational, social, cultural, and recreational services.
  • ARC-People First
    • Arc supports people with IDD in navigating disability issues and systems. We seek to protect and promote human rights of people with IDD.
  • Bridging Hearts
    • Bridging Hearts provides quality social connections, both online and in person, for an underserved population of isolated and lonely young adults with learning differences including Autism Spectrum Disorder. Bridging Hearts will provide and maintain a supportive community where everyone feels valued.
  • Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose Schools
    • The Community Education program is committed to a mission which emphasizes learning as a lifelong process. Community Education offers classes and learning opportunities to people of all ages, birth through senior citizen, and all abilities
  • City of Brooklyn Park

  • Mad Hatter Wellness
    • Mad Hatter Wellness creates comprehensive sexual health education programming that educates, trains and empowers people with intellectual disabilities and their support systems.
  • Highland Friendship Club*
    • HFC's mission is to serve individuals with disabilities by providing opportunities to develop skills, friendships and community connections.

  • Magnifying Abilities
    • Magnifying Abilities is a social/recreational program for persons with mental or physical disabilities. The program is designed to enhance the community involvement and life long learning of adults with disabilities. Included are craft and informational classes, tours, sporting events as well as other outings.
  • United 2 Fight Paralysis*
    • Unite 2 Fight Paralysis exists to unite and empower the international spinal cord injury community to cure paralysis through advocacy, education, and support for research.
  • PACER Center
    • PACER Center enhances the quality of life and expands opportunities for children, youth, and young adults with all disabilities and their families so each person can reach his or her highest potential. PACER operates on the principles of parents helping parents, supporting families, promoting a safe environment for all children, and working in collaboration with others.
  • Meridian Services
    • Our commitment includes a promise to encourage self-determination and self-advocacy and to develop policies and practices that support these philosophies. The further development of a self-determined life enhances each person’s feelings of competence and well-being. Our focus on person-centered processes assists individuals with articulating and realizing future goals.
  • Minneapolis Community Education-Access Services

  • Opportunity Partners
    • Established in 1953, Opportunity Partners is a Minnesota nonprofit organization that works alongside people with disabilities to provide job training, employment and residential support for people to live more independently, succeed on the job and lead lives filled with purpose and meaning.
  • Project Power
    • The Adults with Special Needs program (also known as "Project Power") provides specialized classes for adults with disabilities. Activities and classes offer educational, recreational and social activities for participants that practice life skills to increase independence, communication, and community integration.

    • The Disability Resource Center (DRC) works in partnership with students, faculty, staff, and guests of the University to eliminate or minimize barriers and facilitate inclusion on campus.
  • Leisure Education for Exceptional People (LEEP)
    • Leisure Education for Exceptional People, Inc. (LEEP) enriches lives through inclusive education, recreation and healthy living opportunities. Programming is designed to enhance the quality of life for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in the Greater Mankato Area.
  • Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance
    • The Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance offers support to Minnesotans affected by brain injury through, advocacy and public policy, resource facilitation services, which provide personal one-on-one connection to information and resources, case management for individuals on TBI or CADI waivers, and statewide educational opportunities.

    • Get Up Stand Up To Cure Paralysis (GUSU) is a nonprofit organization in Minnesota working to unite, educate and support those dealing with Spinal Cord Injuries and to advocate for research and the restoration of function.

    • MDA takes a big-picture perspective across the full spectrum of neuromuscular diseases to uncover breakthroughs that accelerate treatments and cures.     • Empowers individuals and families, to create community, and to celebrate the abilities of people with Down syndrome.
  • Fraser
    • Fraser is Minnesota’s largest and most experienced provider of autism and early childhood mental health services. Fraser serves infants through adults with healthcare, housing, education and employment
  • Midwest Special Services
    • A nonprofit organization supporting individuals with disabilities, founded in 1949. We were originally known as United Cerebral Palsy of Greater St. Paul, and provided support to children with Cerebral Palsy.
  • West Metro Learning Connection
    • Social Skills for individuals with ASD and other Social, Emotional, and Behavioral Needs, such as ADD, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Reactive Detachment Disorder, and Sensory Processing Disorder. No diagnosis is required.
  • Hutchinson Adaptive Recreation
    • Adaptive Recreation is a weekly activity program specially geared for mentally and/or physically challenged teens and adults.
  • Pedal and Roll for Parkinson's
    • Pedal and Roll for Parkinson's is a non profit providing outdoor cycling experiences on balance friendly, state of the art trikes/tandems. 
  • Twin Cities Adaptive Cycling *
    • Youth & adults with disabilities. Enhancing Independence and Building Community through Adaptive Cycling
  • Courage Kenny Sports & Recreation – Adaptive Cycling
    • Organizes weekly rides throughout the Twin Cities and Duluth. Individuals are loaned handcycles and recumbent trikes or ride their own bike.
  • GB Kids
    • Sales of Adaptive Bikes for youth and adults, special needs joggers and strollers for active families. Test ride by appointment.
  • Freedom Concepts
    • Designing adaptive bikes and alternative seating for mobility, therapy, and fun since 1991. Give us the need. We will find the concept.
  • FlexAbility Fitness
    • Teaching adapted fitness classes around the Metro area (and 1 on 1 sessions), usually using circuits or fitness games, I have developed.
  • Twin Cities F. I. T. 
    • Interdisciplinary health/wellness approach that specializes in exercise for individuals with special needs and chronic illnesses.

    • An inclusive community made up of people of all ages, abilities and walks of life who have decided to live life to its fullest.

    • Adult and youth sled hockey clubs, with 55 members, with mission to provide high quality sled hockey programs for all.
  • Minnesota Special Hockey for developmental disabilities*
    • A stand up ice hockey program for athletes of all ages and abilities. They have nearly 270 skaters in 15 cities across the state of Minnesota.
  • MN Wild Blind Hockey*
    • MWBH is dedicated to providing children and adults with vision impairments the opportunity to participate in ice hockey.
  • Power Hockey
    • Provides a quality hockey program for persons requiring the use of an electric (power) wheelchair in daily life.

    Founded in 2016, The Shooting Star Foundation is a Christian non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to Minnesota families for the care and development of children with special needs.

      • We're a martial arts school in Burnsville, members of the Adaptive Martial Arts Association
    • Rock Steady Boxing*
      • Gives people with Parkinson’s disease hope by improving their quality of life through a non-contact boxing based fitness curriculum.
    • Dragon Crane Martial Arts*
      • Dragon Crane provides martial arts programs for wellness to anyone seeking to learn, regardless of ability to pay.
    • Table Tennis Minnesota
      • Provides tournaments, training and league opportunities for individuals in the Twin Cities area.
    • USTA Northern
      • Promotes and develop the growth of tennis in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and northwestern Wisconsin. They partner with local organizations to run adaptive and wheelchair tennis programs.
    • Ballet Royale Minnesota: Ballet Beyond Barriers
      • Ballet Royale offers a wide variety of programs, providing classes from toddlers taking their first steps in our ground breaking Mommy & Me classes, teens stepping into a professional dance career, adults revisiting or practicing their first plies, to professionals wanting to augment their training. Our unique offerings range from comprehensive training programs to customized plans and private coaching.
    • Capernaum Adaptive Dance
      • Adaptive dance classes are designed for children with orthopedic, neurological, or other diagnoses as an opportunity for them to explore movement and dance in a recreational setting. Children ages 5 and older are welcome to use wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, etc. throughout the classes if needed.
    • Darby's Dancers
      • QC Dance is the proud home of Darby’s Dancers-Blaine! Darby’s Dancers is a non-profit organization that provides specialized classes for dancers with special needs. Each dancer is paired with a volunteer coach and will take class once a week. There is no charge to dancer/families for the classes. 
    • Gateway to Guthrie Theater
      • Theater entertains, but it also educates. From onsite classes for individuals to customized experiences for groups, our education offerings seek to connect people of all ages and abilities with the artistry of the Guthrie.
    • Minnesota Accessible Activities Calendar 
      • Minnesota Accessible Activities Calendar highlights accessibility features in order to ensure all are welcome.
    • Northland School of Dance
      • Offers dance classes in both recreational and competitive levels, for ages 2 ½ – adult. Classes include: jazz, tap, ballet, Pointe’, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, acro, boy only classes, special needs classes, adult classes, a full range of technique classes and more!
    • Our Dance Place
      • Our Dance Place Is a result of a deep conviction and belief that people with disabilities should be able to enjoy their friends in a social environment. They provide a safe hassle-free social environment where people with disabilities can come together be with their friends, meet new friends and enjoy the musical atmosphere and activities.
    • Studio 4 Dancers
      • Studio 4 Dance's Adaptive program gives children with special needs an opportunity to express themselves through dance and movement.
    • Uniquely Abled Dance Center
      • Provides dance lessons for children and adults with disabilities. There are programs for Wheelchair users, kids with cognitive disabilities, and for kids who are blind or visually impaired.
    • Woodbury Dance Center
      • Woodbury Dance Center is a family-orientated dance studio offering quality dance instruction for ages 18 months to adults. 
    • Young Dance*
      • Young Dance integrates individuals with and without disabilities in the exploration, creation, and performance of dance.
    • Northern Starz Theatre Company*
      • Northern Starz offers creative theatre for artists with special needs; including The Penguin Project, Theatre Camp & on-going Classes.
    • QC Dance
      • QC Dance is one of the few studios with a long successful lifespan. A forerunner in the industry and community, QC Dance is the leader in providing dancers unique and memorable opportunities for all ages, desires and commitment levels.
    • Simply Jane/Art Able
      • Simply Jane provides open paint, classes and parties, summer camps and specific special needs programming. All abilities are welcome.
    • Upstream Arts*
      • Using the power of the creative arts to activate and amplify the voice and choice of individuals with disabilities.
    • Minnesota Connect Aphasia Now (MnCAN) (Choir)
      • This group provided services based on the social model of aphasia intervention, supported communication strategies, and life participation approaches to aphasia.

    • Capable Partners*

      • Fishing Has No Boundaries provides recreational fishing opportunities for all anglers with disabilities regardless of their age, race, gender, or disability.
    • Let’s Go Fishing
      • Fishing and boating is such a common past-time for Minnesotans and we may often take for granted how easy it is for many of us to enjoy our state’s beautiful lakes and rivers. LGF returns the outdoor experience to those whom might not otherwise have the opportunity to fish, boat or enjoy time with friends on the water.

      • The Minnesota Broken Wing Connection offers individuals with physical disabilities the chance to rediscover or discover for the first time, the outdoor activities available to them.

      Hermann Heights Park & Monument

      • The playground is engineered to provide a unique mixture of activities, working out major muscle groups, balancing, climbing, upper-body and sensory activities. The site incorporates natural features such as rocks, trees stumps and boulders.
    • St. David's Center
      • The equipment is specifically designed for children ages three to 10 at all stages of motor, cognitive and social development for children all of physical, cognitive and behavioral abilities. Children will discover the open-ended, creative, outdoor play in nature that so many of us experienced in our childhoods. Please note: During business hours, the playground is only open to children supervised or approved by St. David's staff. The playground is open to the general public 6 - 9 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. on weekends.
